We’re looking for a Director to design and lead this fund from inception — convening experts for field strategy, building the grantmaking apparatus, managing a portfolio of funded teams, and stewarding a growing coalition of philanthropic, government, and technical partners. You will work alongside a technical Principal Investigator and an advisory board to realize this vision.
This role is ideal for someone comfortable with operating independently, with strong project management skills, and familiarity with the landscape of public AI infrastructure, large-scale training data, and open-source data ecosystems.
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Research and Origination within the Fund Ecosystem program which will play a key role in building out Renaissance Philanthropy's work to design, launch, and evaluate new, thesis-driven philanthropic funds.

This program is designed for the operator who has already been close to the work of building a company — and is ready to step into the seat that runs it.
The ideal candidate is someone who has been operating in the gravitational field of company-building for a while, and is ready to step fully into it.
The Engineer in Residence program is a 6-month fellowship with Renaissance Philanthropy in partnership with Gitwit Venture Studio and part of the new Northwest Arkansas Innovation Fund from Renaissance Philanthropy. This program is designed for the engineer who has a builder instinct already showing up somewhere–side projects, weekend builds, scrappy projects you’ve pushed into the world–but who hasn’t had the chance to do that work full-time, in the open, with a real team around them.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a zero-to-one instinct, evidence of building, stays close to the frontier, and has engineering experience.
We are seeking a Partnerships, West Coast Lead to play a key role in expanding Renaissance Philanthropy’s network of funders and partners, with an emphasis on the Bay Area. This role will cultivate relationships with philanthropists and foundations aligned to Renaissance Philanthropy’s vision, mission, and methodology and identify opportunities to develop new partnerships.
This role will help Renaissance Philanthropy and its programs to fundraise and deliver impact at scale.
We are seeking a versatile and highly entrepreneurial leader to scope and design a new fund to increase access to GLP-1s across India. This role would be responsible for scoping, designing and, eventually, launching and managing this multi-year initiative, working across science, policy, and industry to turn evidence into action. This role will be in charge of defining the fund’s theory of change, coordinating key stakeholders, and building the partnerships and infrastructure needed for success.
This role is ideal for someone with 8+ years of experience in global health, strong research and analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
We are seeking a Research Engineer on our Engineering Hub team. The Engineering Hub provides hands-on engineering and AI implementation to support mission-driven educational technology organizations.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience building production-grade ML-powered software, a track record of conducting and publishing research, hands-on familiarity with modern generative AI techniques, and a passion for education technology.
