Christen Brandt

Christen Brandt is our Operations Lead at Renaissance Philanthropy.

Christen designs the systems and structures that enable our organization and team members to thrive. Christen began her career as the co-founder of She’s the First (STF), an internationally recognized nonprofit ensuring girls are educated, respected, and heard. She subsequently advised impact organizations including the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, Aerie, Birthsmarter, Bukhman Philanthropies, and the Westminster Foundation, shaping their organizational design, staff structures, and philanthropic strategies. Christen also co-authored Impact: A Step-by-Step Plan to Create the World You Want to Live In, which guides readers on their journeys to create lasting change, and is a coach for leaders and philanthropists in moments of transition.

Christen was an Intesa-Sanpaolo MBA Scholar at Oxford University and a Newhouse Founders Scholar as an undergraduate at Syracuse University. She and her work have been featured by The United Nations, The Drew Barrymore Show, the Obama White House, and more.
